Pepsi Strawberry Shortcake: a reported 2027 possibility

Of the four names, Pepsi Strawberry Shortcake has the clearest dated reporting we could locate. A September 17, 2026 report by Ofir Rabinovich in Israel Hayom describes an unofficial claim about a dessert-inspired Pepsi, with regular and Zero Sugar versions and a possible 2027 launch. The publication explicitly says Pepsi had not issued an official announcement or image.

That supports reporting that the rumor exists. It does not authenticate the underlying distribution information, which we have not independently obtained. The year 2027 should stay attached to the word rumored, not become a release date on a shopping calendar.

The Pepsi can in the submitted picture is visibly labeled Mockup @SodaSeekers. Its pink-and-white artwork and shortcake illustration should therefore not be described as a photographed retail can. We have not tasted the proposed drink, verified its ingredients or confirmed whether it would be a limited or permanent U.S. offering.

Coca-Cola Strawberry Float: do not confuse it with Cherry Float

The middle bottle in the graphic reads Strawberry Float and carries an @snackwire mark. The image gives us a name and an illustrated package to investigate, but it does not supply a dated announcement, a retailer listing or an authenticated production label. We could not independently verify a U.S. Strawberry Float launch in the sources reviewed.

There is a real, similarly named product that can muddy the search: Coca-Cola's official U.S. cherry lineup includes Cherry Float and Cherry Float Zero Sugar. The brand describes that drink as cherry with vanilla flavor. It is not a confirmation of Strawberry Float.

A new flavor sounding plausible within an existing range is not the same as that flavor being announced. Until stronger evidence appears, we cannot give Strawberry Float a launch month, package size, price or list of U.S. retailers. The bottle rendering alone does not establish those details.

Coca-Cola Cherry Lime: a separate, unverified claim

The right-hand bottle is labeled Cherry Lime, with Zero Sugar lettering visible on the pictured label. A separate caption beneath it claims both regular and zero-sugar versions. Those are claims made by the graphic, not two formulas we have verified.

Coca-Cola's U.S. cherry page lists Cherry, Cherry Zero Sugar, Cherry Float, Cherry Float Zero Sugar and Diet Coke Cherry when checked for this article. It does not establish the proposed Cherry Lime bottle shown here. That limited check is not proof that a future launch is impossible; it is a reason not to present the picture as confirmation.

Keep the full brand and flavor name together when following this story. A cherry-lime drink from another brand, or a custom fountain combination, would not establish a packaged Coca-Cola Cherry Lime release. We have not verified a release year for this specific claim and will not borrow Pepsi's rumored timing for it.

Mr. Pibb Black Currant: the comeback is real; this flavor is unverified

The purple-and-red Mr. Pibb can is the other striking part of the image. Its flavor text appears to read Black Current; we use Black Currant, the fruit spelling, to describe the claim here. The spelling in a shared rendering is not a verified final product name.

There is genuine official background: The Coca-Cola Company announced Mr. Pibb's return on October 30, 2025, describing a spicy cherry drink, a Zero Sugar version and a national rollout planned for 2026. That release concerns the returning core product. It does not announce a Black Currant extension.

We have not located an authenticated Black Currant product announcement or established its intended market. A recognizable logo, current-looking can design and a full-and-zero-sugar caption are not enough to confirm that this particular flavor will reach U.S. shelves.

What the shared graphic can and cannot tell us

A reader supplied the photograph after seeing the image shared on Facebook. We do not have the original post URL, its complete caption or an authenticated publication date. Visible watermarks are useful leads, but they do not establish who assembled the composite or whether the creators endorse every claim placed beside their work.

The graphic labels all four concepts as new and claims regular and zero-sugar versions. It does not show a launch schedule. Only the Pepsi report reviewed above supplies a proposed year, and that year remains unconfirmed. There is no basis here for advertising all four as a confirmed 2027 lineup.

What would turn these rumors into launch news?

The most useful next evidence would be a dated manufacturer statement naming the flavor and country, or an authenticated retailer or distributor record with clear product details. An actual shelf photograph could establish a sighting at a specific place and time, but not automatically a nationwide rollout.

If more evidence becomes available, the details to check are the precise name, U.S. market, regular versus zero-sugar formula, launch window and final packaging. Until then, these are interesting names to follow, not drinks we can promise are coming to your local store.
