The September 8 report says a Monster corporate email identified Rehab Green Tea, Juice Monster Rio Punch, and Ultra Fantasy Ruby Red for discontinuation in the United States on or before October 1. It does not claim the products were already gone on the date of the post.

That timing matters because a scheduled cut can be real while official shopping pages and store inventory remain active. The report earns a watch page because it is concrete and near-term, but it does not earn a confirmed badge without the actual notice or independent distribution evidence.

What official evidence conflicts with the rumor?

Monster’s U.S. Rehab Green Tea page remains active with a 15.5-ounce size, flavor description, caffeine information, and shop and store-locator paths. The product also appears in Monster’s broad flavor directory.

The company’s Form 10-K for 2025 lists Green Tea alongside Tea + Lemonade, Peach Tea, and Wild Berry Tea in the Rehab line. The filing is a year-end snapshot rather than a September 2026 schedule, but it confirms that Green Tea entered the year as an active company product.

Why fans find the rumor believable

Rehab Green Tea has disappeared and returned before, giving fans a reason to worry when availability changes. It was part of Monster’s earlier Rehab history and returned to U.S. resets in 2024 alongside Ruby Red and Rio Punch.

A prior return also means “discontinued” would not necessarily mean “gone forever.” The useful task is to document each distribution period accurately instead of merging earlier versions, the 2024 return, and a possible 2026 exit into one vague timeline.

What evidence would confirm the cut?

An authenticated distributor communication, a major retailer discontinued-SKU sheet, removal from Monster’s current Rehab range, or a broad post-October replenishment stop would materially strengthen the report. Several independent distribution territories reporting the same end date would also matter.

One store being out of stock is not enough. Rehab products already have narrower shelf placement than core Monster cans, so normal assortment differences can look like a national exit before one occurs.
